MCs, vocalists, and instrumentalists collaborate for an evening of improvisational creation on stage at Maestre Arts.
The Treasure Valley hip-hop/r&b scene is coming up strong! Maestre Arts is opening its doors to MCs, vocalists, and instrumentalists to collaborate in a live setting to create soulful, conscious sounds in our performance studio. If you haven’t had much experience working with live musicians and fellow artists, this is the perfect opportunity to branch out. Here’s what you need to know:
MCs
Bring your written raps or come off the top, it’s your opportunity to share your artistry with an accepting and encouraging community of like-minded creatives.
Vocalists
Bring your lyrics or make them up on the spot. This is an opportunity to practice your riffs and runs, technique, tone, and vibe with a live band.
Instrumentalists
Come work on your groove, musicianship, and even learn a little music theory.
