Hawaiian Hip Hop and Reggae Roots
Seth Abella, aka Dalii, a member of the group Young Hustle Society (YHS), grew up in the small town of Wahiawa, Hawaii. With Hawaiian music a large part of his upbringing, Dalii picked up ukulele and guitar on his own, learning both traditional songs and crafting his own. At the age of 10, Dalii began to write poetry which he would then use as the lyrics to his songs; impressing friends and family alike.
Today Dalii blends his Hawaiian storytelling with passionate, hard-earned hip-hop lyricism. Currently residing in Nampa, Idaho, Dalii continues to refine his self-taught skills as a singer, music producer, and energetic performer.
