Conscious rap and old-school hip-hop advocate, DEEJ takes pride that he’s a 90’s kid… but just barely.
Dorian Jerome Crump, aka DEEJ, a member of Young Hustle Society (YHS) was born and raised in the small town of Emmett, Idaho. DEEJ, a natural artist and athlete, finds himself having grown mentally and physically tougher through his time competing in athletics, being raised by a single mother of three, and working his way through some rough times in his life to build something he is proud of.
His lyricism and delivery are a byproduct of his past, shaping him to be the artist he is today… that, and Subway sandwiches... and a lot of weed.
